Communion Under Both Kind - Post Covid Restrictions

25 October 2024 – Very Rev Fr Vincent Glynn, Vicar General

Parishes are now able to make available to those who attend Mass reception of communion under both kinds. Communion should be distributed keeping in mind the guidelines found in Appendix 1 of the Guidelines for Altar Ministers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Acolytes. A reminder to always consider health precautions and implications for your community. It is important to inform the parish community that if they are unwell, they should not receive from the chalice.
